About A. V. Parekh Technical Institute
Established in 1948, Amrutlal Virpal Parekh Technical Institute (AVPTI) was founded with the generous support of Sheth Amrutlal Virpal Parekh, who donated INR 1,05,000—a significant contribution at the time. This funding led to the launch of the Wireless Telegraphy course, marking AVPTI as a pioneer in the field, being the first institute in the country to offer such a program.
The vision of Sheth A.V. Parekh was realized through the dedicated efforts of Shree R.K. Yagnik, then Principal of D.H. Arts & Science College, who played a crucial role in making this initiative a success. Over time, AVPTI expanded its offerings to include courses in Advanced Radio Communications, Television, and Wireless Communications, setting a benchmark for quality education and producing skilled professionals sought after by top companies worldwide.
